Affordable Dog Training
Lisa Ridens is a certified dog trainer who has been training dogs for herself, friends, and family for over 20 years. In 2008 she became certified to train dogs professionally. She is a graduate of Animal Behavioral College and spent a year mentoring with a veteran trainer from Gig Harbor who was voted best trainer on the Kitsap Peninsula in 2009. As an effort to remain current on the latest training techniques and ideas, Lisa attends continuing education classes regularly.
Lisa is teaching two classes:
- A beginning class to learn basic obedience and dog psychology.
- An intermediate class that focuses more on putting the basics to work in real life.
- Both classes are $100 for a 6 week session.
Lisa is now a certified Canine Good Citizen trainer and evaluator. This is the first step toward training your dog to be a service dog. If you would like more information on the program, visit http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/program.cfm

What people have been saying about the classes...
"I am so appreciative of the puppy class taught by Lisa Ridens. With her calm demeanor and practical advice, Lisa is able to interpret dog behavior and not only teach the commands, but also explain the dog's perception. It was very helpful to have her watch us with our dogs and provide feedback on what we were saying and our body language. Though I've had dogs almost all of my life and have taken basic obedience classes before, I found these classes to be infinitely valuable. I feel much closer to my dog, and my husband even noticed the difference in the dog. I am hoping to take the intermediate class!"
"Lisa is very knowledgeable and helpful"
"I liked being able to have a lot of one on one help. I really liked Lisa and her methods"
